Welcoming a baby into the world is an exciting time for parents. A new baby also means having to buy a lot of stuff and let’s face it, babies aren’t cheap! Fortunately, there are a few places where you can get free stuff for your baby. Things like shampoo, baby detergent, bottles, pacifiers, even a swanky organic cotton burp cloth from Burt’s Bees – free!
Whether you’re expecting or are already sleepless new parents, these are 5 places where you can receive free stuff for your baby – no shipping, no gimmicks, no strings. Check out the freebie list below to grab your goodies because they go fast!

Amazon
New parents can receive a free baby box worth up to $35 in baby samples and full-size products. In order to be eligible to receive a Baby Box, you have to create a baby registry and make a $10 purchase off your registry items. This is the only box that requires you to make a purchase, but since you’ll likely be getting a lot of stuff for the baby anyway, it’s the perfect opportunity to receive a free gift.
Babylist
Babylist sends a #hellobabybox to every parent that creates a registry on their website. It’s completely free and honestly one the best goodie boxes out there. Another great thing about Babylist is their diverse registry. You can find items from big-box stores as well as small boutiques to add onto a single registry. I highly recommend having your Babylist registry at the forefront when you share yours with family and friends.
Here’s what I received in my #hellobabybox:
– i play. Baby Brim Sun Protection Hat & coupon code for an additional free baby gift ($25 value). No shipping required.
– Burt’s Bees Organic Burp Cloth & $10 off a $25 purchase
– Cetaphil Baby Moisturizing Oil, Baby Wash and Shampoo
, Baby Daily Lotion
, Diaper Cream
(travel sizes)
– Cetaphil Daily Advance Ultra Hydrating Lotion & Gentle Skin Cleanser
sample
– Pampers diaper bag with wipes, diaper, and coupon book
– Lucy Darling sticker pack & 10% coupon
– Dreft Newborn Hypoallergenic Liquid Baby Laundry Detergent sample
– bamboobies Organic Lanolin-Free Nursing Balm Nipple Cream sample
Baby Box University
Baby Box University will send you a free Baby Box (a box-like bassinet with a fitted mattress) and free baby samples. To be eligible, parents have to complete a video baby course and graduate from Baby Box University (pass the quizzes at the end of every video lesson). The course is really helpful, especially for new parents. You can choose a local Walgreens to have your box sent to free of charge. The box is in an adorable print and it’s a great way to co-sleep with your baby for the first few weeks of their lives.
